Personal Statement

I am looking to attend a Division II or III college or university where I can participate in collegiate softball while pursuing a comprehensive education in order to lay the foundation for a successful career. I have a strong interest in Biology/Nursing and my academic strengths lie in math and science. My ideal school would have a reputable science program as well as a variety of majors and programs that would afford me a well-rounded education in addition to several options for my career path. My coach would describe as a team player with a positive attitude who is willing to do what is asked of her.  I have played softball since I was 5 and would love to continue to be able to play at the collegiate level.  Softball has brought so many strong friendships into my life and has taught me the meaning of being part of a team.  I hope to build on that foundation and continue to grow both academically and athletically.
