Personal Statement

I aspire to reach my full potential as a high level student athlete. My passion since early childhood has been submission grappling.  My extremely competitive nature coupled with my comfort with physicality and desire to be the best has greatly helped my transition to football. My introduction to football came later than most of my peers as I first began freshman year of high school.  In just my third season I was credited with twenty-two solo tackles and eight assisted tackles as a varsity safety.  

I've successfully maintained high academic standards while competing in both football and submission grappling. My leadership traits have continued to develop and shine both in and out of the classroom.  I'm looking forward to continued athletic success while in pursuit of my degree in business administration and entrepreneurship.
