Personal Statement
Although I have only been playing football since I was in the 6th grade, I have since had aspirations to play in the collegiate level and in the pros. I see college football as a one of the higher levels of competition. Playing in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity.
I have continuously work on my skills and train harder to become a coachable athlete. I have great work ethics and continuously push myself to become a faster, stronger and mentally solid player. I am a team leader on and off the field and like to encourage my peers in aiding them make the right descison. I am very coachable and dedicated to the sport. I believe I can be a good fit in any program as I am adaptable to diversity.
I am not only dedicated in the weight room but also in the classroom. Student before athlete. I always push to maintain a high GPA and try to use all the resources available to me. In addition, I complete community service work with my local Probation Department assisting in with their Foster Family events and often gather clothing and personally deliver it to the less fortunate in my community.
I dream to follow the footsteps of my family members and attend college. College will not only help push myself into becoming the best student-athlete but also gain insight in great career opportunities. I am open to any opportunity that with challenge me academically and athletically. I hope that I can become a role model to my community and make my family proud.
