Personal Statement

My name is NeRyan Forston and I'm a hardworking, disciplined student athlete who is truly dedicated to football. I have been on the Varsity football team since my sophomore year in high school. My football IQ is extremely high as well as my athleticism on the field. I also play on a 7 on 7 travel football team. I emerged as a leader of this team upon it being started and the coaches have labeled me as one of the team captains. I also display leadership and good work ethics on and off the field.  

When it comes to choosing what college I would like to attend; my choices are very broad. I am looking forward to finding a college that is the best fit for me where I can receive a quality education and play football. My top choices for a major as of right now are Business or something in the area of Science, Math, and Technology. However, I am leaving my options open throughout the course of the rest of my high school career.

My athletic goals are to continue playing football at the highest level of competition possible. I plan to be a dynamic player that makes a positive impact on the team. I know that I will grow both physically and mentally, while striving to do my very best to be a great asset to the team. I will conduct myself respectfully on and off the field, knowing that the way I carry myself reflects, my coaches, team, and the school I attend. I would love the opportunity to play for your football program.
