Personal Statement

My name is Tyson Wimbley and I am a defensive tackle (offensive guard) from Bentonville, AR.  I believe that I will be a good fit for your organization because I am a hard worker and I am dedicated to the sport of football, as well as academics.

On the field I play my heart out, and leave it all on the field with nothing left in the tank until the next game. Off the field I strive to stay humble and carry myself as any responsible person/athlete should.  I pride myself on being respectful, humble, and make sure I'm being a good influence on those around me.  In the classroom I try my best to stay on the A/B honor role, and I have managed to reach this goal almost every year.

Some of my collegiate goals and aspirations are to keep my grades up at all times and to play football to the best of my abilities.  I'm determined to get a Kinesiology degree.  Also while playing college football I would like to obtain my life long dream of winning the BCS championship.  But I want to make sure whichever school I attend has my best interest in mind, allows me to meet as many aspirations as possible, and put me in the best position to be the best student/athlete I can be.  I want my college career to be the next building block of my success.
