Personal Statement

Hello Coaches,

I am Sage B. Jones, a Jr. at Orlando Christian Prep(OCP),  in Orlando, Fl., the class of 2020.

My collegiate goal is to attend a Division One school to play football, that will offer me a full scholarship so that I can obtain my Bachelors degree in my preferred field of study, while maintaining a high GPA, learning to be a better young man and develop lifelong relationships that will be beneficial now and the future. To be an integral part of the football team and be a leader on the campus.  My aspiration is to become one of the best players on the team, to be a leader on and off the football field,  do more than what is required for my team and my ultimate aspiration is to live out my dream of becoming a player in the NFL. and become a college graduate.

I will be a good candidate for your team because my love for football is deep, I have been playing since I was five years old and I play the game because I love it not out of obligation or a way out. With that I am an ultimate team player because football games are won with a team not with an I. What makes me different is, I believe that my vision and what I see while on the football field makes the game comes at a higher level for me, and I am a consistent even-kill player that will keep the team focused in a win or lose situation and I go hard to make it happen. I am superb athlete that takes the game serious with fun and I have good study habits and consistent in my academics. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
