Personal Statement

I am a 5'6, 185lb Linebacker from Blythewood, SC and will graduate with the class of 2020.  As a freshman, I lead the freshman football team to an undefeated season (first ever), and least amount of points scored throughout the season.  I am a hard worker,  focused and determined player.  My motto is NO PAIN, NO GAIN.

As an athlete, I would love to attend an institution where I could come right in and make a big impact on the team, but I understand red shirting, and I see it as an option.  I plan to major in Biology.  I am interested in all levels of college football, that offers a good balance between academics and sports.  My first choice is to attend a college on the east coast , and large in size, but I am a open to all options.

My biggest fan is my mother.  She's a single mother on disability, and she does her best to provide the most financial help to ensure my academic and athletic success.  However,  financial aid will play a big part in my selection of a school.  She pushes me even when I don't want to be pushed. She never misses a beat.  She's a strong team player, and her motto is LEAVE NO TEAMMATE BEHIND.

My collegiate goals and aspirations are finding the best school that fits me, not only for football, but education and environment as well.  What makes me different from other recruits, is that I'm a team player and a winner.  I hate to lose, but also understand the importance of good sportsmanship.
