Personal Statement

Outside of playing football, I didn’t grow up on the easy side of life. For some time my mom was a single mother taking care of three kids, she was always working and my older sister would take care of me and my youngest sister. I learned a lot from this period of my life, I learned to be humble, and to cherish everything that I have. My mom met my stepdad and he has been a great father figure, he taught me how being respectful will benefit you in many different ways and many more opportunities will open for me. 

The sport of football has been my go to, when I’m mad,sad, or happy I have to learn more than I knew yesterday. This sport means everything to me and I want to make my family proud by fulfilling the dream that I have always had.
