Personal Statement

Coming from a family that loves and played football, I developed a love for the game at an early age.  Ever since I was introduced to flag football in kindergarten, I knew it was what I wanted to do.  There is no better feeling than developing the relationships and the Brotherhood that comes with being a part of the football team.

I understand the sacrifice and perfect effort that are required to continue to develop into the football player that can contribute to your program.  I have the athleticism and football knowledge to be utilized in any skill position.  I have great leadership skills and have earned the respect and trust of my coaches and teammates. 

My education and football are my priorities. My goal for high school is to maintain a 3.0 or higher GPA and to earn money and scholarships to help pay for college.  I am looking for a university where I can make a difference on the team and bring hard work and true leadership.  I am also looking for a university that can offer me the opportunity to succeed on and off the field.  I work hard to be a good student, a supportive teammate, and a coachable athlete.  I know that I want to go to a school that will allow me to grow as an athlete, challenge me academically and prepare me for my career choice.
