Personal Statement

My sports experiences began at the age of 3 when I played soccer and t-ball for the YMCA.  I began playing football as soon as I could at the age of 6.  I instantly fell in love with the sport. I played quarterback and running back during my time with CYFL, and continued to play as a running back on my Jr High team.  I joined the Varsity team my Sophmore year where I played running back and outside linebacker.  My junior season I learned how to overcome adversity when my team was 1-4 and with teamwork and dedication we made it to the second round of playoffs.  I was nominated to be on the leadership team and strive to be a team leader on and off the field. I received the 15-5A Academic All District for 2018 & 2019, as well as 1st Team All-District offense and Honorable Mention All-Area for 2019.  During the off season, I spend time in the weight room to get stronger and bigger.  I am also a multisport athlete running track and playing Varsity baseball.

I strive to do well academically as well as athletically. I am a member of NHS and have been on the A/B Honor Roll every semester.  My goal is to be the best student and athlete that I can to continue playing at the next level.  I am very coachable and strive to do the best in everything I do. With my experience, leadership and dedication I will excel in the classroom and on the field.  I am looking forward to the opportunity to play for a great football program and getting an excellent education.
