Personal Statement

My name is Sammie Pemberton and I'm a 5'5" hardworking player and student. I'm an athlete who understands the game but humble enough to always be a student of the game.  My most important accomplishment was being a freshman on our high school team and receiving first team all league.  I can offer my team the promise to always work hard and never give up. To always be a leader both on and off the field; both vocally & leading by example.  To be a positive influence and to always show respect to those that I represent i.e. team, coaches, school & my family & friends.  When it comes to choosing what school I would like to go to, my criteria is pretty simple. I want a nursing program that would allow me to stay on the west coast. Knowing my nursing degree will be a challenge, I absolutely would be blessed to be able to play ball and have that balance.
