Personal Statement

I am a Junior at Waubonsie Valley High School in Aurora, Illinois.  I have been playing as a Left Guard for Waubonsie’s varsity team since my sophomore year. I received an All Conference Special Mention in 2018 and an All Conference Honorable Mention in 2017.  I qualified for state as the heavyweight wrestler for Waubonsie’s varsity squad in 2019 and I took second place at the 220 weight class at the Frosh/Soph Illinois State tournament in 2018.  I have played football since I was 10 years old and our travel youth football team from Naperville, IL won the National Championship in 2015 in Orlando, Florida.

I hope that college allows me the opportunity to continue athletics and strength training.  Team sports have been such an integral part of my life and I would like to continue to work on myself and team development as an athlete.  In college, I am planning on studying business possibly focusing on a Finance Major.
