About Me

My name is Glenn Wright Jr., I’m an 10th grader entering my junior year. At Sayreville War Memorial HS in Sayerville NJ.

Interesting Facts

I played baseball when I was 6 yrs old. I also wrestled and found my love for football beginning at the age of 11.

Accomplishments

Invited to the 2016 USA National Team

First year of wrestling made Rookie of the year (2013)

Went to the AYF (American Youth Football League) in 2015

Started for AYF All Star Team, event was located in Florida – ended 2nd in Nation

Champions of East Coast

Athletics 

I am a starting defensive end for the Bomber(#99). I am 6’3, 225 lbs. very fast for my size. I am good off the ball and rushing the quarterback. Have the ability to drop into coverage. Good at sealing the end. Proficient at shutting down run plays. Most importantly, I am a leader on and off the field. I pride myself on always demonstrating good sportsmanship and encourage my teammates to do better.

At the end of my 7th grade year, I was introduced to my personal trainer –Coach Dan Huff. Who has instilled instrumental techniques that has the afforded me the opportunity to improve my craft. There is another coach that was very instrumental in my development. Coach Ray, who has been my team coach since 2014. Coach Ray has helped me perfect my greatest move “the swim move”. He has also provided me with great qualities such as endurance and determination.

Academics

Eventhough I am a student of the game, I know that I have to be a stellar student academically as well. Thoroughout elementary school I have always maintained good grades. Currently, I have a GPA of 2.7. My ultimate goal is to be a 3.5 or greater by the end of this year. When I graduate high school I have plans on furthering my education in college as well as playing football. I would like to major in Biology.

Hobbies and Interests

In my sparetime, I enjoy dance and music. I like to play pickup games with my friends. I spend allot of spare time working on improving my craft.
