Personal Statement

As my Junior year football season comes to an end, I am more certain than ever that I want to continue playing for as long as I can.  I am proud of the consistency I was able to maintain because I know that my teammates and coaches can count on me.  I show up at every weight training session whether it is mandatory or not and I never miss a practice.  I know my strengths but most importantly, I know my weaknesses.  I strive everyday to get better and that will never change.  I want to lead by example and that includes my work in the classroom as well.  I maintained all A's throughout the season and completed 30+ hours of community service and although it was a challenge at times, I know what I need to do.  I want to play for a team that needs me and will help me grow with them.
