Personal Statement

Thanks for looking at my profile. I am hoping to find a school that I can continue with both athletically and academically. I have been playing football since I was five. I have been committed to the sport ever since and I truly enjoy playing. I have always attended the local schools football summer camps every year.  I have also attended the Texas A&M Football Summer camp in 2014, and the LSU Football Summer camp in 2016. This Spring I am planning on attending the USA Football camp in Houston, as well as the LSU Summer Football camp (Session 1) and possibly the Alabama and University of Houston Football camps when the dates are announced.

   I started playing football for The Tarkington Longhorn Little Little League team as a Freshman in 2007. I played for the Tarkington Longhorn Little League team until 2011. During my time with the Tarkington Longhorn Little League teams, I have started each year at various positions while playing both Offense and Defense to include; Center, Nose Guard, Fullback, and Defensive End.

  In 2012, I played for the Texas Renegades Select Team out of Humble, Texas. I was a starting Defensive End for the Texas Renegades and we had an undefeated season as well as won the Championship.  While playing for the Renegades, I had the opportunity to play in two football tournaments.  The first tournament was the 2012 Thanksgiving Madness Tournament in Dallas, Texas; where I had the privilege of playing in Cowboy Stadium. The second tournament was the 2013 Kings Classic Tournament in Sugarland ,Texas; where we went undefeated and won the Championship.

 In 2013, I played for the Tarkington Junior High Longhorns on the seventh grade A team as their starting Fullback and starting Middle Linebacker.

 In 2014, I played for the Tarkington Junior High Longhorns on the eighth grade A team as their starting Fullback and starting Middle Linebacker. I also attended Texas A&M’s summer Football camp.

 In 2015, my parents and I decided that I should move in with my grandparents so that I could attend LaPorte High School; a larger 5A school with a better athletic program with more challenges, competition, and better opportunities. I came to LaPorte High School as an unknown player having to prove myself to the coaching staff. I participated in both of Laporte’s summer strength and conditioning programs, as well as their summer camp. I played my Freshman year with Laporte as their starting Fullback and starting Defensive End.

 In 2016, I once again participated in both of LaPorte’s summer strength and conditioning programs, as well as the LSU Football Summer Camp Session 2, and Laporte’s camp. I played my Sophomore year on the Junior Varsity A Team as their starting Fullback and starting Defensive End. I also ran plays as a Tight End and Slot Receiver. At the end of the season I was moved up to Varsity for the State Playoffs.

 I am excited and looking forward to playing on the Varsity team in my Junior year at LaPorte High School. I have been referred to by the coaching staff as a coachable player who is eager to learn, grow, and get better. I always give 110% during practice as well as game day. I always PLAY TILL THE WHISTLE BLOWS!
