Personal Statement

I aspire to play football at the collegiate level for a school that offers what I'm looking for in the classroom as well. I'm willing to work as hard as I need to in order to achieve my goals and more whether that is graduating near the top of my class or leading my team to victory every time I step onto the field. When I started playing football at the age of seven I had no idea where the game would take me. Now, it's almost a decade later and I'm more in love with it than ever.

Playing this sport has taught me that every inch, every second, and every play matters. Slacking off for even a moment can be the difference between winning and losing, championships and second place. Therefore, I'm prepared to work as hard physically and mentally as I possibly can in order to compete at the next level in between the lines and in the classroom.
