Personal Statement
Hello, my name is Samuel Young III. I have always had the goal of playing college football since I started at an early age. I am currently a 6’5” 290 pounds Junior at Bloomington High School South, in Bloomington, Indiana. I moved from Fort Wayne, Indiana during my 6th grade year, and have been committed to working on my football skills ever since.
I have received many awards for my leadership on and off the football field. I have been committed to the work of getting better. This year I played Varsity football for my school. I have been in discussion with my coaches and have been informed of starting varsity next year. My goal is to have recognition for conference and state.
My goal is to play Division 1 football and I am excited to explore all opportunities. Specific regions I am most interested in exploring are universities in the Midwest (to be close to family), South, and the Pacific Northwest. I believe that I will make an impact to your program, and I will do whatever it takes to be the best football player and student for your university.
