Personal Statement

I have played sports for most of my life, and I have developed many skills that make me a good candidate for any team. I have learned how to stay determined and fight through adversity in order to reach my goals. I work hard at whatever I do and I push those around me to work hard. I have developed my leadership skills so that I can encourage my teammates to cooperate and strive for success. I believe I stand out among other recruits because not only am I a hard worker, I also hold myself accountable to everything I do. This is important on the field and throughout life because I push myself to make the right decisions, and my coaches, teammates, and all those around me can rely on me to do my part. I am not only a hard worker in sports, but I am also a determined student. I currently have a 4.4 weighted GPA, I always push myself to be the best student I can be, and I look to help my classmates when they are struggling. Overall, I believe these attributes will help me to earn a spot on a strong college team, and contribute to the team's success.
