Personal Statement

Playing football has always been a great enjoyment to me and having the opportunity to play at the college level has always been a dream of mine, regardless of level or institution.  The understanding that a person's character is based on how they act and what they do when no one is watching is what I have tried to build my life upon in academics, athletics, and attitude.  When I find myself in tough situations, I often think about how this decision will affect my family, my team, and myself.  I also believe that if you aren't giving your all in life in everything you do, whether it be academics, athletics, or just daily life, then you are not reaching your full potential and using your talents to better yourself and the people around you.  As a player, I will commit everything I have to my team as both an athlete and a student.  I will also do whatever it takes to succeed and reach my goals.
