Personal Statement
I play softball to have fun and to be with my teammates. I love every inning, and I enjoy improving, because it makes me a better player and teammate. Every time I step onto the field, anything that bothers me melts away.
I think my teammates and coaches would describe me as hardworking, dedicated, a good teammate, talkative on the field, and small, but strong. They might also think of me as spunky and energetic. My parents and coaches have told me that I never hang my head. Whenever I make an error, I forget about it and focus on the next play. If I miss a ground ball or strike out on an inside pitch, I work harder so I don't commit the same error twice.
I really want to be a primatologist or wildlife biologist, so I would like to attend a college with an exceptional Zoology and Biology program. I have always loved to learn and exercise my mind as well as my body. That is why playing softball while pursuing my career would be a dream come true.
