Personal Statement

Coaches, My name is Michael Bailey and I am from West Virginia. My dream is to play college football. But more importantly, I want to get a good education. I am an active member of my church and I also volunteer helping out with a local youth football team teaching football. I do as much as possible to be around the sport, loving every aspect of it. I also help as an equipment manager for a semi-pro football team. I try to learn from the players as much as possible. With the help of my brother, I also operate my own lawn care business. We made a lot of money this summer and I plan to continue my efforts to make it grow. I already have business cards, and uniforms for the business.

As football goes, this year I beat out our starting long snapper, a senior, the 4th game into the season. I didn't have a bad snap all year. This past summer, I won a competition at University of Alabama at Birmingham long snapping camp for 9th and 10th graders. I have been in the gym since football season, working around my wrestling schedule, to get better at what I do. Which I also am on the varsity team as a freshman.
