Personal Statement

    Being a student athlete has taught me the importance of being a scholar athlete in the classroom and on the football field. My hard work on and off the field has afforded me the opportunity to be recognized academically by being selected into the National Society of High School Scholars, being selected as the defensive player of the year my sophomore year, and honorable mention All-Conference defensive player my junior year. Football has also taught me the value of teamwork and that as a team you’re only as strong as the weakest link. If everyone on the team motivates, challenges and pushes each other to achieve a common goal which ultimately is to win a Division and State Championship it can be achieved through team work.

    As the son of an active duty US Army service member has instilled discipline and maturity in me as well as the ability to overcome adversity. I have moved every 3 years to different states and overseas to Germany, which has taught me to quickly adapt to change. I have been playing football since the age of 9 and exposed to multiple coaching styles which has helped me to excel academically and athletically, which makes me different from other recruits. Regardless of what Division level I play collegially l will continue to strive for excellence in the classroom and on the field.
