Personal Statement

Thanks for reading about me! I am an academically strong student, particularly in the math and science areas and I'm considering an actuarial, mathematics, or engineering related field of study. I will continue to strive to remain salutatorian or better, and this is definitely a challenge for me because I play three sports. In softball, I always seem to surprise people behind the plate with my quickness, blocking and "cat-like reflexes" as stated by a reporter in the game link from my freshman year: https://tribhssn.triblive.com/broadcast/67416/yough-girls-softball-at-belle-vernon-girls-softball-december-02-2018-audio/. Another asset coaches seem to love about me is my hustle. I've always practiced like I play-hard and full force, because I want to keep getting better and stronger. I would love to have my future college plans decided before the 2020 New Year, but since I'm planning on taking my SATs for the first time in November 2019, that personal deadline could change if I am not satisfied with my initial score.
