Personal Statement

I am a high school football player that aspires to continue to play in college, while also receiving an education. I use my knowledge of football to become a leader on the field to help my team reach its potential. I am currently an outside linebacker, who is willing to play any position that coaches feel would better suit me and the team. I believe that hard work and determination is the only way to achieve your goals. I grew up watching and learning football from my Dad, which is where my passion for the game comes from. His drive and dedication for football and in life, are what inspires me to be the best man and player I can be. 

As a student athlete, my academic goal, is to explore different aspects of the sports environment through an undergraduate degree in kinesiology. On the field, I plan to be a dynamic player and positive influence on the team. As I grow both physically and mentally throughout my college football career, I will strive to be an asset to the linebackers, the defense, and the team. Most importantly, I will behave with honor and respect on and off the field, knowing that the way I carry myself reflects not only myself but my team, my coaches and the school I attend.
