Personal Statement

Hello, 

My name is Mark Montoya.  I’m apart of the graduating c/o 2020 at Mayfair High School, located in Lakewood, CA.  

I did not start playing football until my freshman year of high school.  There where days I wanted to give up, but my dad taught me the quote,  "If you want something you have never had, you must be willing to do something you have never done."  In all three years I’ve been playing football, we’ve reached the CIF playoffs, and two of the last three we’ve been league champions. 

My dream is to one day hopefully attend a 4 - year university, graduate with a college degree, and ultimately play the game I love of football at the college level.
