Personal Statement

My name is Daniel Bello in the class of 2022. Throughout my high school career I have faced many trials and tribulations. Playing running back my whole life I wanted to play offense of the varsity level but my coaches did not believe in me so I played defense and started at cornerback. My junior year I dislocated my shoulder before the first game and I continued to have this problem through the season. I then got surgery after the season and this season I had about 34 touches at running back with 6 touchdowns. I then fractured my knee and partially tore my mcl my senior year but I did my best to come back strong. I am an all around athlete that can maintain good grades while being a good football player. I am very respectful, mature, coachable, and a great leader. My passion for football is very different from others because i put my heart and soul into it and many say that but i do my best to show it. That is what makes me a different student athlete from others.
