Personal Statement
I enjoy school and want to continue my education at a higher level and play football. I see myself working in an engineering field, particularly civil engineering. I am willing to study hard to get there. I have come a long way with school, for the first two years of my life I was practically deaf, so I struggled with speech and reading at an early age. I worked hard and overcame this at junior high school and I am now constantly improving my grades at my high school Providence Catholic (I just got a 32 for reading on my last ACT). At university, I am looking forward to meeting new people, making new friends and learning from my teachers and coaches. I think I am a good candidate for football coaches for a number of reasons, not just my academic commitment and athletic ability and size. I genuinely love playing the game of football. I enjoy being part of a team and a family of football players and coaches and I believe this will help me greatly when I first move away to university. A compliment I have always got from my coaches is that I am really "coachable", some have said I would run through a brick wall if they asked me to, mostly I want to succeed for my coach, myself and the team and I trust that my coach wants to make me the best player he can, so I listen and do what they ask. If you are looking for a team player with full commitment I am your guy.
