Personal Statement
I have been playing football since I was six years old. Since I stepped on the field for the first time, I have aspired to play at the collegiate level and eventually the NFL. I know that playing in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity that I work everyday to achieve.
I am always working to improve my skills as well as training to get bigger, faster and stronger. I currently lift weights five days per week. Additionally I attend speed training three times per week. During the off-season I attend wide receiver training 1-2 times per week, depending on the QB's training schedule, and I work on routes, footwork and hands drills daily. I also have a Jugs machine that I work with daily. I am a team leader and try to lead by example while also encouraging my teammates. I am very coachable and strive to be one of the hardest working players and one of the hardest working recruits you’ll find.
In the classroom, I study hard and maintain a high GPA. I am also the president of my local Alpha Charity League chapter where we donate our time and labor to various charity organizations such as American Cancer Society, Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, and local food banks. Additionally I am currently a member of my high school's Business Professionals of America.
I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the football field. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. I plan to receive a bachelors degree in finance and to further earn a MBA. I am a hard worker on and off of the field and strive to be the best at everything I do. No one on any team I have played on has ever worked harder than me. I have excellent leadership skills and the trust of all of my teammates . I am outgoing, intelligent, and loyal to those that earn my trust. I hope to become a great role model to all my peers and make my parents proud.
