Personal Statement
Future coach(es), I am Brandon Snell. Currently, I am a senior at Piper High School (Kansas City, Ks), anticipated graduation date May 2021. Throughout my life, I have always enjoyed playing a variety of sports. I was introduced to football at an early age and fell in love with the game! Through the years, I have learned that my work ethic has helped me develop into the athlete I am today and define who I am on/off the football field.
Identifying my strengths and weakness and what it takes to be successful, helped me improve as a student-athlete in the classroom and on the playing field. By me being competitive, this allows me to be a good and coachable team player. I was selected by my high school coaches as a freshman to play varsity football. During this time, I played on our special teams and started my sophomore year as a defensive back. It was awesome to have my coaches recognize and believe in me to display my talents as a freshman entering high school!
Tragedy struck me when I was 12 years old. I lost my father to cancer and quickly learned that life is unpredictable and how you deal with life-changing events is entirely up to the individual. I knew that my father (Elliott Arnold Snell) a former football player of The University of Kansas Jayhawks would never want me to give up. He would want me to keep my head up, be a respectful young man, give back to my community, and continue striving to be the best I can be!
My future goal is to study in the healthcare field. I believe I can make a difference in people's lives, and I look forward to speaking with you soon and learning more about your school and its program.
