Personal Statement

All my life, I've been two things; very hardworking and very competitive. I want to be the best-period. I put a lot of pressure on myself but football is a release from the stress of life for me. I can forget about everything and just play. Starting on varsity as a sophomore and earning and maintaining a 4.0 GPA showed my progress but I still have a lot left to learn and experience.  Since my transition from quarterback to receiver last summer, I’ve driven myself to use my agility, explosiveness, and coachability in getting out of breaks, blocking and route running. I love to play no matter the position and I work hard to be the best player for the team and do my job.  In school, I excel in all of my classes from gifted and AP classes to weightlifting.  I plan to attend a top university with an excellent mechanical engineering program. I want a top-notch education along with the opportunity to play football at the next level.
