Personal Statement
I possess the love and passion for football; I have been playing tackle football since the age of 4. I began playing tackle for Milwaukee Teams, Detroit Lions and Red Skins up to the age of 9.I played with Marquette Junior Hilltoppers and Whitefish Bay Football teams from the ages of 10-13 (current) . I also participated in Marquette Football Camps for two years, and Green Bay Packer Camp for a summer of 2012. Saturday, May 2, 2015, was my most recent football camp with referred by, Coach Andre Powell. FBU Camp, and I am scheduled to attend camp the first week of June for FBU, in Chicago, Illinois.
I attend Whitefish Bay for my high school courses and also attend Nicolet High School for Hebrew classes. I am a athlete 365 days of the year; I am an active baseball player at the Whitefish Bay Little League Intermediate Division (2011-2014) and a tennis player at the Elite Club in Glendale, WI.(2014- Current. Additionally,I participated in Whitefish Bay Wrestling Team and Whitefish Bay Basketball Team(2014). Besides football, I play the Trombone in the Whitefish Bay Middle School Band;I have been playing since the age of nine. I have been in my church choir since the age of four, Boys Scouts since (2014- current) Troop # 7750; and, under the mentor-ship of Rabbi Dr. Giddeon Goldeholz, had been learning and reading Hebrew since the age two.Currently, my Hebrew instructor is Danielle Riches Cormier. My pastor is Mr. John Wesley Mcvicker Sr. Pastor of Christ the King Baptist Church. I am extremely grateful for family mentor-ship from Grandpa John Jude, and Grandma Marilyn Jude. I look forward to following in their footsteps of being a future college graduate. I am also extremely disciplined as I have learned that characteristic from my Mother who also received her college degree and was honorably discharged from the United States Navy (Petty Officer Third Class). Having two older siblings who are currently enrolled in college aspiring to be a Doctor and Lawyer, I have been fortunate enough to see their path in instilling motivation for my path to college.
My inspiration for football began when I received an authentic football jersey and other football items directly from Corey Redding, on my fifth birthday. Since I can remember; I have always carried the ball and played the game. I like the challenge and the physical contact of the game: I enjoy creating the plays and making the calls. Football is my life. When I am on the field, I learn compassion, how to deal with others,be a team player, and work with others' faults and strengths. I adapt my plays to my teammates strengths. I use my strengths to support my teammates' weaknesses, and my teammates use their strengths to support my weaknesses. We are a team.
Football has built up my self esteem, shown me diversity and made me think on my feet. These are life skills I will continue to build on the field and I know I can take out in the real world; especially, since I know my calling and purpose is to be Pastor.
I am looking forward in playing football in college and aspiring to the National Football League. I am excited about the opportunities that lie before me and I appreciate the time that you are investing in me.
Thank you and looking forward in speaking with you!
