Personal Statement

I love the game of football, on the field I feel confident and "in my element". I have dreamed of playing college football my whole life, I've envisioned myself playing in the games, setting records, and making my family proud. I pride myself in being an elite hardworking Student Athlete. I understand the importance of academics and I have a sincere passion for athletics. My character is shaped by my belief in God, through him I live, I move, and I have my being. I know that with him all things are possible. I have been blessed with talents and skills that allow me to perform at the highest levels in the classroom and on the grid iron. I aspire to attend an institution that will offer educational and athletic opportunities to help me further develop and to ultimately excel in life. I intend to major in Engineering and to play collegiate sports such as football, track, and baseball. My parents have helped to instill a strong work ethic in my approach to academics and sports. I have excellent time management skills and I know how to prioritize my responsibilities to avoid conflicts. My teachers and coaches can attest to my dedication and optimistic attitude. I believe that my academic success coupled with my athletic abilities make the ideal prospect.
