Personal Statement
My goals for college are to play collegiate football as RB or MLB and earn my Environmental Sciences degree. I was a walk on Starting LS at Southern Arkansas University in 2020 as a freshman receiving an academic scholarship and in state tuition. They cancelled their entire season, and I was only able to attend practices. The goal was to try out for RB the following year. I had to transfer back to Texas due to my father's cancer diagnosis. I am now attending college at Texas A& M-Corpus Christi and am a Junior and hold 4 years of eligibility. They do not have a football team and I would like to transfer to TAMU-Kingsville to play football with a scholarship. I am a hard worker with my academics and playing football. I can play several positions and will change to wherever the coach needs me. I have played football since age 5 as either RB or MLB. I played RB/MLB/LS in high school. I played in 7 Varsity games in 2018 as a Junior as LS and Kick off team with 1 game as starting DT and 2 games at starting MLB. In just the 3 games at DT and MLB, I had a total of 30 tackles and 1 interception. I played in all Varsity games in 2019 as a Senior as Starting MLB and LS. I received 2019 All District 2nd Team ILB with 83 tackles, 2 Sacks, 2 TFL, 2 FF, and 1 Fumble Recovery. I am a very coachable athlete. I do what others are not willing to do to improve and get better. For example, staying late to watch more film of opponents. As you can see, I am much faster on film than in timed drills. I have continued to workout and have stayed in shape. I ended with a 3.0 at TAMUCC for spring 2023.
