My name is Nick Kaires and I am a student-athlete currently attending Smithtown East HS. I play Fullback and Defensive Tackle for the football team and will graduate in 2021. I have started playing when I was five years old in the PAL and played travel since I was eight.  Selected as Team Captain and received the "Work Horse Award". I was elected as one of the league’s best Full Back and defensive tackle for the last three years on my travel team. For the last three years I was invited and attended several NUC and FBU combines and played in the Youth All-American Game(North vs South). I enjoy working with my teammates to better ourselves as a teamand achieve team goals. I take pride in my adaptability on the field and playwhere ever I am needed to help the team excel. I am a hard-working teammate,who will not stop until I have achieved my goals and have reached my maximum potential. I have a strong passion for the game and enjoy the passion. I made the National Junior Honor Society and maintain a 3.8 GPA, and made highest honors 2 years in a row. I plan on continuingmy football career at the high school and college level and will work hard to excel both in the classroom and on the field. Life is a journey for me and not a destination.
