Personal Statement

My love for football started when I began playing when I was five years old. Since I took my first snap I knew this was something that I wanted to be involved with and hoped one day to play at the highest level, playing in college. I know that playing in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity that has the ability to change my whole life.

I was raised in a military family, where the ideas of honor, courage, and commitment were instilled in me. I am always working to improve my skills as well as training to get bigger, faster and stronger. I am a team leader who tries to lead by example while also encouraging and motivating my teammates. I am very coachable and strive to be one of the hardest working players and one of the hardest working recruits you’ll find.

In the classroom, I have always succeeded maintaining a 3.8 or higher throughout all my years of school. I also help out my community along with my team by attend events at local elementary schools, teaching them about football and leadership.

I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the football field. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a great role model to all my peers and make my parents proud.
