Personal Statement
I have played competitive sports my whole life. My dad was a two sport collegiate athlete, my grandpa and great grandpa were collegiate athletes as well, and I've always wanted to be a collegiate athlete too. Although I played soccer, baseball, and basketball while growing up, I've really come to love playing football. I came to play football a little late, starting my Freshman year in High School. I quickly realized that I really liked the physical part of football and the grind that goes along with the game. I think I found my natural position as an Offensive Lineman and really enjoyed being physical and dominating my opponent this past year. My time spent playing basketball (Varsity the last two years) has really helped my footwork with football. I am a hard worker and my coaches say I am very coachable. I am a person that wants to do well and works hard to achieve my goals. I set a goal for myself to play football in college and I'm determined to achieve that goal. I am a good person, I work hard, and I have the right character to be a positive addition to any coach's team.
