Personal Statement

My collegiate goals and aspirations are to make a difference in the classroom first, then on the football field. My ultimate goal is to graduate with a bachelor's degree in the field of sports management or physical education.  Also, I plan on being the best player in the country, as well as being the best in the classroom. What makes me a  great not just a good candidate for any football team is my work ethic. I feel my work work ethic cannot be matched by anybody in the country. What makes me different from any recruit based on character is my willingness to keep going, and to keep showing up even when things get tough. For example, this past year my high school football team did not have the greatest season. During this time I would still show up to every meeting, every practice, and every game with the same mindset of being the best version of myself. What makes me different in the athletics department is going out to every practice, and every game not just thinking, but knowing when I step out there on the field it's business, and that I am the best player on that field. Also, in the weight room I dominate each and every work out. I am not the type of player to every skip a rep, or to every complain that the workout is to hard, or to say that I am tired because tired is not a feeling, but a mentality. Lastly, I make a difference in academics by doing all of my work, and showing to every class, and not skipping class ever. I prioritize the classroom over every activity I do. I have a 3.9 GPA meaning my grades are very important to me, and something that my parents have taught me very well.
