Personal Statement

I am a 6'2" Tight End from Columbus, OH. I started on the Thomas Worthington Freshman football team in 2017 where I played both DE and TE. For my Sophomore year I transitioned to the Varsity football team for the 2018 season as the starting TE.  In my senior year I’m playing DE and FB. I ended my first 3 years with a 3.5 GPA. I have never fallen below a B average throughout my academic career and have set a standard for myself where that will not change.

I am eager to find a college or university that I can call home where I can continue to pursue my academics while I determine my major and where I can find the right balance between the classroom and the football field. I would like to belong to a program that values character both on and off the field. My mother is my best friend and she taught me the importance of character and I pride myself on being a good person. As with any student athlete, it is my hope to enter a program where I could join forces with my teammates to make an immediate impact. I believe my best fit would be at the DI or DI-AA level, although I will absolutely consider any opportunity afforded to me.
