Personal Statement

I have played football since I was 6 years old. I loved it as soon as I stepped on the field. I aspire to play collegiately. I enjoy every aspect of the game; the physicality, the mental toughness it requires, and the brotherhood you form with your teammates. It is not a game of "I" but a game of "we".  Our team motto is "OUT WORK 'EM ALL", and that is exactly what I do. I have an unmatched work ethic and give 100% effort 100% of the time. I'm a returning OT starter for the 2024 Alabama 7A State Champions, the Thompson High School Warriors. I am a leader on the O-line and help run our positional training. 

Football has shaped me into the person I am today and the person I continue to become. It has taught me dedication, discipline, perseverance, and loyalty. These skills help me succeed both on the field and in the classroom. My GPA is 3.97 (weighted 4.49) and I belong to multiple academic honor societies. I want to attend and play at a college where I can push myself and continue to grow as a person, a player, and as a student. I plan to major in Biology, with plans to attend dental school after I complete my undergraduate degree. I want to have a big impact on the field, in the classroom, and in my community.
