Personal Statement

My name is Jaidyn Owens, and I’m a cornerback at Cedar Grove High School. My goal is to compete at the next level and earn a college degree while continuing to grow as a student athlete. I believe what sets me apart is my work ethic, discipline, and passion for the game. I am constantly studying film, eager to stay coachable, and focused to constantly push myself to improve my technique and football IQ.

Off the field, I am still able to balance the classroom and strive to be a role model for my teammates and community. I take pride in representing my school with integrity, whether I’m on the field, in school, or serving others. I’m committed to being a dependable teammate and a leader who brings energy, effort, and the drive to put in the work for the wins at the collegiate level.
