Personal Statement
I have enjoyed playing football since the age of six years old. I understand that training to excel in my sport and in my education are full time commitments. This is the key reason why I train with both private trainers three times a week and put in the time with leagues/camps and the weight room for the other four. In the summer and outside of fall practices I continue to assist my father and other former coaches in coaching at the PAL Football program I was a part of when I was younger, so I can continue to focus on fundamentals and understand the game from a different point of view and on a larger scale.
I also make sure my studies are focused on as I'm part of the National Junior Honor Society, where we put time in to volunteer at our school. I use my time in school to focus on bettering myself as a student where maintaining a high GPA across all my classes is a goal.
I have a strong desire and burning commitment to continue my play into the collegiate level at a college where I can continue to push myself. I practice by the attitude of if they are bigger be faster, if bigger & faster be smarter, if bigger, faster & smarter then just want it more than them. Refusing to be outworked so I am an asset to my program and teammates is my focus.
