Personal Statement

I have been playing Football since I was 3 years old but after leaving my hometown in Mexico when I was 12 years old I had to adapt to a completely different social life, language, and way to play Football. Thankfully I found out my new school had a Football team, which gave me the motivation to fight through all the adversities I was facing. After a couple of years, I earned a spot on the Varsity roster as a Freshman, and to this day I've maintained my spot. I have even received awards such as "Honorable Mention All-District (Freshman)" "2nd Team All-District (Sophomore)" "1st Team All-District Defensive Player (Junior)" and "Defensive Player of the Year (Junior)" These awards mean a lot to me but they are not enough. I love this sport and want to play it at the next level. I'm ready to commit to what has always been my dream. I'm ready for college Football.
