Personal Statement

I am a RHP for The Athenian Owls in California. I have committed myself to following the lifestyle of a competitive college athlete. I have been improving at an exponential rate, and I am now sitting at 83-85 MPH. I have been on Varsity all four years, and for over the past year, I have been working with NPA to become the best version of myself. I have learned how to maintain a strong and fierce mound presence, as well as developed a true competitive mindset that I use with every pitch.

Academically, for my first two years of high school, I had an undiagnosed learning difference. Once I was diagnosed, it made school a lot easier because I was able to get the accommodations I needed to truly succeed; as you can see in my upward trend of grades, I started to perform much better once diagnosed with ADHD. While I have been very focused on honing in on my baseball skills, I do not let my academics fall behind. I am still very serious about my learning and my academic path in college, and now that I know what I need to succeed academically and athletically, I will keep the upward trend of grades going.

I do not just want to show my commitment to baseball I want to continue to prove that I will keep raising the bar for myself and the people around me.
