Personal Statement

Hi, I'm Javari Antoine and I am a 6'4" 290lb Class of 2026 O-Tackle starting for Lumberton High School in South Mississippi. We finished the 2024-2025 season having a 10-3 record. I currently hold a 3.8 GPA

Firstly, I believe that I would be an excellent candidate for any team, not only based on my athletic abilities but on my character and academic achievements. I desire to contribute my skills, determination, and leadership to my team while excelling academically. I aspire to create a lasting impact not just on the field but within the broader collegiate community. My goal is to play at the collegiate level while majoring in Aerospace Engineering.

Unlike many other athletes, I did not discover my love for football until I was 13 years old when the path I was on at the time got redirected for a second time. The first being when my father passed away 7 years earlier.  From the first moment I put on the uniform, I have devoted my time and energy to learning as much as I can about the game of football.   I have always excelled in academics and I desire to do the same on the football field.

I am confident that my collegiate goals, character traits, athletic abilities, and academic achievements would make me a valuable addition to any team. I am determined to excel both on and off the field, contribute positively in all aspects of collegiate life, and continue to develop my skills as a student-athlete. I am excited about the opportunity to join a team and make a positive impact, and I am committed to giving my best to ensure shared success.
