Personal Statement

Basketball isn't just a game to me – it's where I come alive. On the court, I'm that player who's always got your back on defense, brings the energy, and leads with my voice as the team's captain. Off the court, I'm the friend everyone can count on, the leader of our Black Student Union, and the one who's always ready to put in the hard work. In the game, I give my all – whether it's making a crucial stop or motivating my teammates. Beyond the court, I bring people together, making sure everyone feels heard and welcomed. My goal? Simple – I want to keep playing ball in college, and I'm willing to do whatever it takes to make that happen.
