Personal Statement

I am Adrijana, 6 feet high center player in girls varsity basketball team of Tallulah Falls School, by origin from Montenegro. My physicality, shot-blocking activity and strong rebounding skills, offensive and defensive, are what determine my play in the court. Being agile and strong, I am able to take smart decisions fast while setting effective scenes to free up my team mates for open shots and always looking to make plays for my team mates. 

As a team player with positive attitude and strong work ethics, I like to contribute my skills and dedication to team. I am eager to take on new challenges and strive to excellence while continuously improving my skills, believing that hard work, resilience and mental toughness are the keys to success in the game I love. Or, to say it on other way, I am ready to learn, adopt and receive feedback in order to improve. 

I hope I will get the chance for next level in collegiate basketball as I am also excellent in academics (GPA 3,96), I am the member of Mu Alpha Theta National Math Honor Society and Tri-M Music Honor Society, along with playing basketball I like to play soccer and I play flute, I am always ready to give a hand by volunteering, hobbying graphic design.
