Austin Prinz is a 2029 SS/RHP with a 5-9 145 lb. frame from Haslett, MI who attends Haslett. Lean high waisted young build. 8.32 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, has active feet and moves well laterally, gets the glove down on time, high and compact arm action with the ability to change arm slots, has some young arm strength with developing accuracy, defensive tools and actions to continue to develop. Right handed hitter, starts from a straight spread stance, has a rotational upper body swing, front side tends to be very early, commits early to his swing and tends to get too far out front. Also pitched and has some mound potential, has a long and loose arm action with some whip out front, throws from the stretch. Fastball topped out at 74 mph, curveball showed nice 12/6 depth with good arm speed, threw strikes with both pitches.

Personal Statement
I am a 2029 graduate, a versatile middle infielder, right-handed pitcher, and utility player with a relentless work ethic on and off the field. Academically, I maintain a consistent A average, reflecting my dedication to excellence in all areas of my life. As a solid teammate, I bring, a strong work ethic, leadership on and off the field as well as positivity and energy to the dugout. My teammates recognized these qualities by electing me team captain of our highly ranked major travel team in a near-unanimous vote. My ultimate goal is to play college baseball while earning a four-year degree, combining my passion for athletics with academic achievement.
In addition to baseball, I am a multisport athlete, contributing as a two-way starter in football and making significant impacts on both ends of the court in basketball. I am committed to year-round development, consistently investing time in baseball skill development, strength, and agility training both in and out of season.
