Personal Statement

My name is Deron Simpson Jr., and I’m a student-athlete at Cypress Falls High School with a passion for football and a strong commitment to excellence on and off the field. My goal is to earn a football scholarship and compete at the collegiate level, while pursuing a degree that will set me up for long-term success in life.

I am dedicated to constant improvement—whether that’s in the classroom, in the weight room, or on the field. I pride myself on being coachable, hardworking, and a team-first player who leads by example. I’m focused on developing both my physical abilities and football IQ to be the kind of athlete a college program can rely on.

Beyond football, I aspire to use my platform to inspire others, give back to my community, and eventually become a leader in whatever career path I choose. I’m looking for a program that will push me to grow, both as a player and as a person.
