Personal Statement

This may sound corny but it’s not what my team can do for me rather what I can do for my team! I believe my individual success becomes evident when my team succeeds. During my high school career, I have not limited myself to football. I have participated on the weight lifting team and the track team. Recently, I participated in the triple jump and found those techniques have helped add techniques to generate explosion. The diversity has added to my capability on the football field.

Academically, I have maintained a GPA above 3.0 and currently holding a 3.15 GPA. In February 2020, I took the ACT as a sophomore and scored a composite score of 21 with an ACT sum* of 82. My goal beyond football is sports management and coaching. Last year, I was given the opportunity to give back by coaching special teams for  the Peewee Colts which included ages 7 to 10 years old. They are part of the Marion County Youth Football League. I found a passion for teaching and having the ability to share my knowledge to help those coming up behind me.

I strive to be the best at everything I do!!! Success is a result of learning from our failures.
