Personal Statement

My Name is Ryan Mayer I am of the class of 2026 out of South Garner High school. My goal is to play College soccer at a high level and make it to the pro level. I can play many roles, Attacking midfielder, Defensive midfielder, Left Wing, and even striker. I think I would be a good fit for your team because I can read the field, I know where the play needs to go, I can see the smallest of passing lanes, and I get the ball off of my feet quick. I also am a supportive and trustworthy player. If you need someone to step up, I can! I am different from other recruits because I am a smart and quick learner in the classroom and on the field. My coachability, resiliency, and passion for the sport makes it easy to take corrections and apply them right away, Or if I make a mistake to bounce right back and make a play in the game.
